You hand over your laundry, it comes back clean, folded and on the day you were told. That is the entire promise, and everything in the business exists to protect it.
Behind that promise is a routing problem, a capacity problem and a communications problem, all of which have to be solved before breakfast every day.
A fixed price is a discipline. It means every inefficiency comes straight out of the margin, so you learn very quickly which parts of a day are actually earning.
It is also the business where I first put AI to work on scheduling messages, customer replies and route notes, and watched a two hour evening job become a fifteen minute one.
